PERLETAKAN JAWATAN SETIAUSAHA AGUNG PARTI KEADILAN RAKYAT

Mesyuarat Majlis Pimpinan Pusat Parti Keadilan Rakyat telah diadakan semalam dan antara perkara lain isu perletakan jawatan Setiausaha Agung oleh Datuk Salehuddin Hashim telah dibincangkan. Dengan berat hati, kami menghormati keputusan beliau dan menerima perletakan jawatannya mulai 31 Januari 2010.

Bagi pihak Parti, saya mengucapkan ribuan terima kasih kepada Datuk Salehuddin atas perkhidmatan cemerlang beliau sebagai Setiausaha Agung sejak April 2008 dan juga sebagai Setiausaha Pengelola dari tahun 2004 hingga 2008.

Memandangkan masa peralihan yang pendek serta tugas-tugas penting yang perlu dijalankan segera, saya telah melantik Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, yang merupakan Ahli Parlimen Machang, sebagai Setiausaha Agung baru dan perlantikan beliau telah diterima Majlis Pimpinan Pusat semalam.

RESIGNATION OF PARTI KEADILAN RAKYAT SECRETARY-GENERAL

The Parti Keadilan Rakyat Central Leadership Council met last night and, amongst other matters, the resignation of Datuk Salehuddin Hashim as Secretary-General was discussed. With some reluctance, we decided to respect his wishes and accepted his resignation, which will take effect from 31 January 2010.

On behalf of the Party, I take this opportunity to thank Datuk Salehuddin for his invaluable contributions to the Party, both as Secretary-General since April 2008 and Organising Secretary between 2004 and 2008.

In light of the short transition period and also the many important tasks ahead, I have decided to appoint Saifuddin Nasution Ismail, who is the Member of Parliament for Machang, as the new Secretary-General, and his appointment was accepted by the Central Leadership Council last night.
